Moving Manager - Charlotte, North Carolina
As a manager for our Charlotte office, your main focus is to provide each and every customer with the best moving experience, period. This means being responsible, professional, timely, and a positive, forward-thinking leader. You’ll also be responsible for hiring movers and drivers, training them effectively, creating moving quotes, booking moving jobs, and interacting with customers.
* Relocation to Charlotte, NC is not covered.
*All applicants must be able to pass a background check (no felonies) and drug screening.
We’re seeking a candidate that has exceptional skills in the following arenas:

The ability to plan all facets of a move - including scheduling, coordinating, staffing, contracts & paperwork, etc.

Customer service; someone who understands that customers are #1, and works tirelessly to ensure our customers are satisfied

The ability troubleshoot problems quickly, efficiently, and fairly

Salesmanship - the understanding of how a business works, including forecasting, motivation to achieve increasing sales & business growth, and relationship building
Requirements:

Candidate must have high school diploma; higher education is preferred

Candidate must have 2-3 years of management experience; moving industry is desired. Experience in the general labor field is acceptable as well; i.e. construction, furniture/equipment/materials delivery, etc.

Candidates must be reliable with a good worth ethic, and have excellent people skills

You must also be able to work well and communicate with fellow team members

Must have a clean driving record! Please have a three-year MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) for our review; with no DUI/DWI, suspensions or revocations

Good balance, hand/eye coordination, depth perception and good fine and gross motor skills. Good to excellent physical condition and endurance; able to lift 75-100 pounds consistently and ascend and descend stairs with great frequency
